Q How do i get a free survey and what happens......is there any high pressure selling?

Plymouth Plumbers will organise for one of our experienced estimators to visit you for your free survey, during the survey he will

  • Establish the type and size of property you have.
  • Discuss what your requirements are in terms of inhabitants choice and lifestyle and any future plans.
  • Measure the rooms to establish what size radiators you require these will be calculated to operate at 19C for bedrooms, 21C for living areas & 23C for bathroom areas.
  • Disscuss with you possible locations of the radiators and boiler
  • Discuss with you all the market products which are available

Your Heating system will be designed with optimal efficiency in mind, so that your running cost are at the absolute minimum.

Q What information will be in the estimate?

We will send you our best written estimate of your proposed works, this will detail what materials will be used and state that all work will conform to relavent documents including

Will will also state that all products used will be of

Q What are the payment terms?
On acceptance of our written estimate  we will require 10% of the overall works value as a deposit this will secure your order and provide you with a start date.
Upon delivery of the materials we will require a further 50%  of the works value
The final sum of money will be paid on your complete satisfaction of the completed works

Q  How long will the work take?

The work sequence carried out on a six radiator system within a two bedroomed house is usually as follows.......

  • Day 1 - Hang all radiators and Boiler
  • Day 2 - Pipe up 3 upstairs radiators
  • Day 3 Pipe up 3 radiators downstairs radiators.
  • Day 4 Pipe up boiler.
  • Day 5 Commission new system.

Q Is there any backup after the installation?
Once the installation is complete you will be entered onto our database, you will be contacted on an anual basis to maintain your heating system so that it operates safely and at its maximum efficiency
