Estimates

(1) Estimates are free

(2) Whenever possible verbal estimates are to be given over the phone.

(3) Written estimates are available upon request and may be chargeable, however any charge made payable is refundable if awarded the works

(4) If tools are used to diagnose a problem this is classed as work and not an estimate and is therefore chargeable.

Terms & Conditions

(1) Payment is expected on completion of the job and you need to make the engineer aware of how you would like to pay.

(2) Time of arrival and departure is agreed and logged.

(3) Traveling time to and from the job is not chargeable.

(4) Time taken to collect parts is chargeable.

(5) All work is charged by the hour and is chargeable to a minimum of one hour, subsequent labor costs can be chargeable to half of one hour at the discretion of the attending engineer.

(6) A fixed price for a job can be given upon request.

(7) In some cases it may be a requirement to collect a deposit, or take payment for the parts up front.

(8) Whomever commissions the job is responsible for payment.

(9) If the person who commissions the job cannot be present at time of job completion payment must be made up front.

(10) If a job is cancelled without a reasonable amount of notice and for not good reason a 20% charge is made to the value of materials and labour.
